The City of Merrill completed a 3.2 million dollar upgrade to their water system in 2021. Included was a 620,000 gallon water tank, a new 1025′ well and 45 HP pump, a new pumping system using four different sized pumps to keep the system pressurized, an 80kw generator for loss of power, appx. 1.8 miles of new water main ranging from 8″ to 10″ in diameter and new valves. Looping the system on the north side of town ensures better quality and pressure for the consumer. We are very proud of our new system and would like to thank the citizens of Merrill for their patience and support!
